How the research is used
Official product pages, group histories, company announcements and reports inform the service questions on this site. “Reviewed” records this edition’s evidence check, not a promise that prices or terms remain current. The 2027–2031 outlook is original editorial inference. No company is represented as a partner or buyer.
Quote Comparator formulas
Gross grams = entered weight × 31.1034768 when the unit is troy ounces; otherwise entered grams. Fine troy ounces = gross grams × (fineness / 1000) / 31.1034768. All-in cost = total item quote + additional charges. Cost per fine ounce = all-in cost / fine ounces. Premium = (cost per fine ounce / common reference − 1) × 100. The lower normalised cost is identified; this is not a product recommendation.
Both offers must be the same metal and currency. The tool cannot verify a product, timestamp, fineness or quote. Gross weight is required even when a product’s advertised weight is fine content. Work from the provider specification; do not apply a fineness reduction twice.
Holding Cost Lab formulas
Fixed holding value = fine ounces × fixed reference. Option A annual fee = max(annual minimum, value × percentage / 100). Option B annual fee = max(annual minimum, fine ounces × weight rate). Total for each = annual fee × years + one-off entry/exit charges. Sensitivity varies the reference to 80%, 100% and 120% while keeping other inputs fixed. The difference is a modelled fee difference, not a measure of service quality.
Resale Scenario Lab formulas
Bid per fine ounce = hypothetical future reference × (1 − discount / 100). Net proceeds = fine ounces × bid − sale-side costs. Recorded cost = original all-in purchase + holding costs already paid. Nominal cash difference = net proceeds − recorded cost. Break-even reference = (recorded cost + sale-side costs) / (fine ounces × (1 − discount / 100)). A future reference is always a user assumption.
Data and downloads
Tool inputs are processed in the browser. Exports include the inputs, outputs and model boundary. Changing an input invalidates the previous result and disables export until recalculation. Nothing is sent to a dealer or stored in an account. These are educational arithmetic tools, not financial advice.
Imagery and identity
The hero is an AI-generated editorial still life of fictional unbranded bullion. It is not a photograph of inventory, a facility or a dealer product. Bullion Centre’s mark and page designs are original. Company names identify official source publishers only.
